  In his recent State of the Municipality Address held at Balmoral Gardens in De Deur, Alderman Peter Teixeira, the Executive Mayor of Midvaal Local Municipality, unveiled an exciting collaboration between the municipality and Heineken. Together, they are embarking on the establishment of a Skills Development Centre in Savanna City, with a special focus on empowering the youth. The primary objective of this center is to provide small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) with access to essential resources such as training, development programs, and state-of-the-art facilities. By doing so, it aims to foster the growth and establishment of new businesses, as well as offer valuable up-skilling and reskilling opportunities to both young individuals and job seekers.
